Reading @DCComics' DC PRIMAL AGE reminded me of this, the publisher's best-ever comic-based-on-a-toy line. Great story by Christopher Priest, strange rag tag group of artists including Dick Giordano, Ramon Bernado, Denys Cowan, Vince Giarrano and Tom Morgan.
This panel from BATMAN: KINGS OF FEAR #6 is a great example of how awesome Kelley Jones' art is. That's Alfred Pennyworth directing some very pointed commentary towards Batman, and the rendering of his face gives you all the emotional content at a glance:
Sure, it contains the first Namor vs. Human Torch battle, the one that follows Namor's epic visit to New York City, where he slaps everyone around, calls everyone stupid and just destroys whatever strikes his fancy.
I reviewed @KitandCatComics all-ages fantasy adventure from @ImageComics NORROWAY for @GoodComics4Kids today, if you would like to read about it: https://t.co/KzpbmO44BW
Of course, after The New 52, there probably wasn't anywhere to go with those character designs but up, right?
I just read @strangelykatie's AQUICORN COVE from @OniPress last night. It is very good, and you should all check it out.
So the networks decided to give Trump free air time tonight. I wonder if they made the right call, and he will actually make a substantial, newsworthy announcement, or if it will just be the same demonstrable lies he's been telling...?
I imagine it will go something like this:
Given that Cassandra Cain's current superhero name is "Orphan," I don't think she has much room to criticize Black Lightning on the stupid name front...
