Ooh, I didn’t name Honk, btw. It would have either been @IDW_David_M or @beccabeean who did that. I just designed them! https://t.co/Et0zkKlwKv
And right near the end, the book that rivalled Lost Light in my affections: Wreckers, Tread and Circuits. @IDW_David_M and I had worked together on so many books by that time, but this was our first time as writer-artist. I just loved the book. 16/24
But it wasn't over (there's an easy line I'm avoiding here) because
variant covers, the wonderful Valentine's special with
@Patrick_Ehlers and @jcburcham. I got to work with @Brian_Ruckley
and @wordmongerer and do proper fighty stuff in Wars End 14/24
Back then, it was going to be alternating arcs with Alex. Now, let's
be clear: MTMTE was my favourite comic, bar none. So much so that
I'd stopped collecting all other comics because that one gave me
everything I needed. So of course, I had to say yes. 9/24
Then, May 2016. I was at MCM Comic Con, late-ish on the first day. Busy working on commissions, when an email pinged on my iPad. It was from John Barber, telling me TF comics were going to change up and would I be interested in working on Lost Light?
My arse nearly off. 8/24
#TBF22 Commission no 3: Kain from Soul Reaver!
Back when I was a BIG Marvel fan, Carlos Pacheco was one of the stand out artists. So, so good and from everything I hear, a lovely man.
Rest in Peace, sir. You’re sorely missed.
Finally caught up on Superman: Son of Kal-El. LOVE this book; between this and reading my Batman and Robin Adventures trades I’m feeling some of my old love of superheroes coming back.
Coincidentally, my DnD current character’s a fairy cleric with a Southern accent!
Pretty serious lisp ‘cause of those missing front teeth, too. https://t.co/UYxwxedJ3Z
I commissioned my very dear friend @your_pal_bucky to do me as a Pokémon gym leader. Look at this gloriousness! I love it!
