Hi #DVart #DVpit! I'm Jonah, a queer comic book/concept artist! I'm currently working on a comic about 3 queer teens who realize their religious town may or may not be based on a deal with the devil. It's written by @rexisred! My other work can be found at https://t.co/SCW1gqVGUQ
So this happened to me in Animal Crossing this morning ;v;
So @rexisred and I just finished reading Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas and...it’s very good. Please read!!!
Hi, instead of supporting a certain woman, maybe we should support cool trans folks who are writing about cultures that aren’t white.
Anyways Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas is a pretty good book https://t.co/YUOMECjifD
@travismcelroy I’m an illustrator/concept artist that does commissions of pretty people and peculiar places! Email me jotheastronaut@gmail.com for more info!
Heyo~ #transcrafted my name is Jonah and I’m a trans man from California who illustrates a bunch of queer folks in genre settings!

So I did a little comic based on having allergies in San Francisco back in March. Kinda wild that packed subways without masks were still a thing back then...
TLDR: yes stylize your characters, and yes stereotypes exist. There’s no “right” answer in character design Just make sure to give space (and share!) those who are trying to make change! My favs rn are @MollyOstertag’s The Witch Boy, @rebeccasugar’s Steven Universe, and more! 6/6
Notibly, there are shows out there that do /try/ to give interesting character design and representation to different body types (i.e. Steven Universe) But it definitely frustrates me that giant studios still hold “standard” for what characters “should” look like (I.e. Pixar) 5/6
