Look at the long running GIJoe series at Marvel.
In the early 80's, artists were using a more "Marvel" Kirby-esque style, and by the end in the 90's, they were mimicking the Image transition.
Sure, there were outliers, but a good portion of mainstream DC/Marvel artists were stuck

I drew the old school Power Rangers Command Center for the Simi Valley Toy and Comic Fest.

@bighatdino They keep trying to update the HISS, and you just can't fix perfection.

Spooky's brother, who we had an eye on, was VERY friendly and fearless, all white, with just a dip of grey on the tip of his tail.
His sister, my Spooky, is also friendly and fearless (somewhat), and looks like she's wearing a shawl.
