#tbt to this map of Chicago museums and public art. I had contemplated making this a print. However, it might need a change of color. Looking at it now...the colors seem too muted.

This is definitely one of my top 5 quotes from The Wire. Actually, everything Lester Freamon said in this scene was good but this one gets to the core of his point about how to view work.

The calligram quote for this week combines the Academy Award winning movie with its only Chicago connection. When I researched this, I was shocked to find how many people loved this scene from the movie. Also, this little jingle was written into a whole song by Bong Joon Ho.

My latest calligram quote is from The Wire. (I will probably do a few from my favorite show.) When Marlo Stanfield took control of the Co-op, he raised prices. And “Price of the brick going up” was his way of delivering that message. It’s also a favorite of @SheaSerrano
