Shocked at 1st but I reread Noya’s flashback chp with his Grandpa and it made this hit a lot harder. Noya’s journey in life has been about conquering his fears and mastering new challenges, that’s what his grandpa taught him and he proudly carries his spirit on..I kinda love that
“It used to seem like the ball was a stranger...but you guys are like best friends now.”
Really got me emotional that they ended the episode with this. If that quote doesn’t perfectly encapsulate Hinata’s journey I don’t know what does. Love Natsu so much.
NOW ITS NATIONALS SZN
Why the fuck do I subjugate myself to reading these chapters (365-368) so many times. They never not hurt
Thread of my favourite Haikyuu Jump covers (also included the chapters and colour pages accompanying them)
1. w/ Chapter 290 “Monsters’ Ball”
Still love the fact that Furudate didn’t show the jump here because we all know now what he was saving it for.
Ayumu Murase does such a great job as cute Hinata, I honestly can’t wait to see his full performance as Hinata from Ch. 365. We got a taste of it at Jump Festa but it’ll hit even harder once the anime adapts it.
A masterclass episode this Friday again? Wouldn’t expect anything else.
Haikyuu fans keep winning.
This is literally one of the best reveals in Haikyuu ever. Thread time. It’s been said by other characters throughout the series, Hinata is the KEY ASPECT in the Quick Attack. As long as there’s a setter who has the settings right, if Hinata can soar, the attack will flourish.
