“You..are...me, from the past or from another future. Burn up and be put to rest.”
This is what makes this fight so incredible. At its very essence it’s Endeavour fighting his own darkness, and burning it up with his flames to bring back the light.
Horikoshi’s writing 10/10
Was rewatching ep 1 and I finally picked up on this parallel
Ep 1, when Hinata sees the Little Giant play, we see wind rush past him along with crow feathers.
Ep 72, when Hinata hears those words from his new Little Giant, we see wind rush past him with seagull & crow feathers.
This is a perfect adaptation.
The addition of the seagulls, and the feathers rushing past Hinata.
Perfect way to show how much this one line truly affected him.

Furudate gave us our last Noya/Asahi convo from HS in the very room where they had their big fight.
The fight that happened in that room is where we started our journey with them and now they peacefully walk of it in their final days together.
No brooms were broken this time 😭
Shocked at 1st but I reread Noya’s flashback chp with his Grandpa and it made this hit a lot harder. Noya’s journey in life has been about conquering his fears and mastering new challenges, that’s what his grandpa taught him and he proudly carries his spirit on..I kinda love that
Both of them have a strange appreciation of their partners’ monster like craziness.
Hinata smiling at Kageyama’s innate nature of quickly adapting to any situation.
And Kageyama smiling at Hinata’s drive to try to hit every single insane quick that comes his way. I love my sons.
Love how the grids were wobbly and weird when the game started to show his disconnect with the environment but then once he got back they straightened out precisely. Also the fast zoom into his eyes to transition to the crosshair of his set. Masterful I.G.

THAT’S MY SETTER
Loved the way they animated this WOW, the negative effect really works well for the grid sequences.
