Also look at how Agrabah still looks like the actual Agrabah from the movie. It's not easy to conciliate gameplay/design constraints with - looking at the big picture - the real thing you're supposed to walk around. Underrated layer of complexity when designing a level imo.
Was browsing vgmaps and I'm still in awe of some beautiful platformer levels on Genesis/Megadrive. (Pocahontas /JungleBook /Gargoyle /JungleBook). I mean wow.
Back to "Atari Image Workshop", convert our png into a format the Atari ST can read: Degas Elite's good old *.PC1.
😬But once in Degas Elite, palette is messed up. Not sure I converted it to an actual 9-bit RGB. There's gonna be some tweaking but it's still a good start! 👍 [7/9]
