Here's an illustration I did that feels... kinda bland EXCEPT for a bunch of little things? Like i'm proud of the shapes, the stylized clouds, simplifying the water, the iridescence on the loon--uh oh, it feels like i'm learning from this
WIP details from a piece I'm working on right now. I'm probably spending way too long on this considering I still have to color it but I think it'll make a cool print!
Hey #portfolioday I'm John! I do a lot of fantasy artwork and would love more work in TTRPG and books! It feels like i've been posting the same five artworks but i have lots of exciting stuff in the works :)

Ok, so I figured out I like graphite. What next? I started using it for everything, learning how to use it (i still am, but this was really figuring out the basics). These were for a visual story i put together á la Shaun Tan (i fancied myself a budding novelist)
More characters! I was VERY proud of the circus man, although now I'm running into the issue of not knowing how to draw clothes
Here we go, getting closer to what I like to do now. I really liked digital color and so i combined that with designing some character busts. I did not draw torsos or legs if i could help it 😂
