And so, with HOTELL Vol. 2 #4, while it's hopefully still scary and exciting as readers have come to expect from Pierrot Courts, there's also a lot of heart and a lot of love that's gone into the telling of this story.

Gorilla Gozu was one of the first characters we developed, actually, and was one of my fave designs, despite her not having a direct MACBETH analogue and not really appearing for the first 4 issues. But Gorilla Gozu makes a big impact in THE CRIMSON CAGE #5, out next month!

One final bonus Top 10 for this year, and this one’s for the grapple-fan demographic among my followers, as it’s my Top 10 Wrestling Matches of 2021. Special mention of course goes to the newly resurfaced 1984 classic between Van Emerald and Chuck Frenzy.

8. RECKLESS
We had two great Reckless graphic novels this year: Friend of the Devil and Destroy All Monsters. Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips are relishing this OGN format. Each story revolves around a case by private detective Ethan Reckless, a great character creation.

On this release week for THE CRIMSON CAGE #1, I have a whole lot of promo and publicity lined up. I thought I’d give you all a rundown of where you can find me in the coming days.
