This is a progression comparison chart. I designed Mika at 11yrs old (?) and I start to add her own unique design.
Had this idea of a silly rom-com of a shaman girl named Mika and her ghost soldier boyfriend. Need to work on it more before I can figure out a story for it. 🌺
Lately I'm saving manga titles that does stunning watercolor for inspiration for my next comic project. Titles are: Beyond the Clouds, Children of the whales and Yona of the Dawn.💕
@theo_plum Oh a tough choice! I enjoyed City of Secrets, Blank Canvas: My So-called Artist Journey, Blue Flag and 'I had that Same Dream again', stories that explore character's identity, goals or internal issues
@kidlitart I write out a list of my goals but since I'm a visual person, I also draw it as a mind-map chart, like this. For each goal in progress, it gets colored. So far, it's helping me remember #kidslitart
@kurumadraws If you look up the light novel art, they all are so pretty, there's spring, autumn, fall themes. The story follows Shichika who is a swordless warrior and Togame brings him on her journey.
Through the years, I attend different art colleges and struggle with depression when the art field had many challenges and you're left without a direction afterwards. But I slowly picked myself back up.
My Comic Journey
This is my story, when I was in middle grade, my motivation came from school kids who enjoyed my work in 6th grade, I imagined publishing my own series, then I went to cons and learn about other artists (Thread) #comicstrip
Prince Rei from The Fox and the Fallen Prince. My Secret Santa art for @KateEastAuthor , Happy Holidays! #FanArtSunday
@MaliaMaunakea @_APIpit Thank you, I'm glad to hear that! I wanted a title that could carry forward in a sequel book. Here is how she looks and has a dog companion
