@Samuraiox @RtRadke Oh! Thanks, Ox!
Yes, hello, I enjoy drawing monsters!

@WSkadi Oh ho ho, thank you!!
Here's the full Jason drawing. It...kinda turns into a blob over on the side, 'cause I knew I was gonna have to crop most of it. 😅
A big boy.
I did the #SixFanarts challenge!...times two, because I got so many good suggestions. I like the variety of characters y'all threw my way!
My process is pretty simple?
Watercolor texture camo print.
Red skin blush to make character look alive.
Color outline of light sources blue. Duplicate, expand, and blur for glow.
Blue highlights of cast light.
Red shadow.
Watercolor background texture.
Subtle red top gradient.
Finished inks, and first layers of color.
(If process is of interest to y'all.)
I've convinced myself--based on precious little nothing whatsoever--that skekNa and skekShod are the George and Lennie of Skeksis.
Mailing out several packages a little later today, and one of them could be for you! Original comics to entertain you, and original art to brighten up your walls!

Commission! I was asked to paint a watercolor of Jack Medusa, private eye protagonist of a relatively obscure little fantasy-noir comic called "Urban Myths".
Been playing The Dark Crystal: Tactics, and there’s a level where you’re up against the General...and also some hollerbats, who are labeled “General’s pet”, and I am absolutely DELIGHTED by the implications of those two little words!
