‘Tobias and the Angel’ by Charles De Sousy Ricketts c1905 - look at the detail it’s so intensely beautiful! I’ll be using this and others for a forthcoming online session @BM_AG on Queer Art through Queer Eyes, I’m very excited 🌈
4/4 Please do check out the learning pack here https://t.co/3FcgzjYPjN I’m so very proud to have been commissioned to achieve this and to partner with @BEexhibitionist ⭐️lots of love to @A_C_Collection @Alan_Measles 💛 please do share your reactions I love to hear from you!
I’m enjoying the artwork of Stanley Gonczanski today and his digital manipulations of early 17th century portraits 👍 the cheekiness adds a humanism to these images of the elite - for me it breaks the grandeur and leaves a charming vulnerability that is the right side of kitsch👌
Star Wars queerness and LEGO collide!....Last year I found the icon that is Bib Fortuna for £2 at a sci fi fare 🌈 👑 I’ve always time for an evil space queen bb 💛 a tiny example of curated pop culture I keep on my desk that I’d like to share with @QHForum
Lovely sharing session today @rbsagallery on diversity - many thanks for having me! Perfect opportunity to have a mooch through some of the works on show these four really connected with me👌
The lost dress @HRP_palaces Hampton Court is stunning - an immersive and really moving space that plays with your senses 💛highlight for me was seeing visitors interact with the textiles, moving around as the flecks of silver and gold sparkle to reward the movement 👌
First trip to @ArtGallerySoton and it’s beautiful ⭐️a cavernous British deco hall gives way to intimate gallery spaces full of treasures. Lots of love has gone into these exhibits and you can feel it 💛
Just wow! Started @darkcrystal age of resistance and it’s beautiful 💛cinematically gorgeous, tender, scary, innocent, and with strong values - very much in line with my childhood memories. Utterly in love + relieved it’s so good👍forcing myself to pace it! #essenceofescapism
Trip to @ironhousebrum - really nice selection of works, the John Greenwood’s in particular are 🔥 cool gallery space, worth a trip to support new creative spaces in brum 👍
Thomas Philips lord Byron on tour from @NPGLondon with the coming home project @Newstead_Abbey is brilliant - makes such a difference seeing it in a space he inhabited 💛really pleased I saw this it’s changed my whole view on the artwork 👍
