Art is hard you guys

Put together this drawing of Anakin's pod racer. Underestimated the difficulty of something so mechanical and intricate. Learning new stuff about drawing and procreate every day though. Messed around with some brushes I liked.

Today I'm gonna attempt to start up another art challenge for myself. The goal is simple. I simply have to create something. Every day. Could be anything. Could take 1 minute or the whole day. Let's see how this goes. Here's this self portrait I did that sorta looks like me 😅.

Wasn't that excited to draw this one, but turned out pretty cute I think. Not forcing myself to a time limit was also really nice. Tried some simple shading that I'll probably do more of. Slowly learning how Procreate works.

Spent about an hour and 15 minutes on this. Just been having too much fun. Idk if I'll switch the time limit to one hour or get rid of it entirely. Still feeling things out. What's important is I'm keeping up with it and having fun. Love my line work on this. Diggersby #660

Trying to forgive myself when I miss days without drawing or get carried away and spend a lot of time on one. Spent a little over an hour on this. Only reason I like to stick to a half hour or less is for the daily habit. I can spend more time on other pieces. Teddiursa #216

So I spent an hour on this one. Got carried away lol. Was very confused by clipping masks in Procreate and trying to get them to work. Messed around with some other techniques. I have a lot to learn, but this was loads of fun. Meganium #154

Excited to show off this piece I did on an iPad with the Apple Pencil. I used Procreate and it's a lot of fun. My friend @peaceablecolt lent me an iPad he had. He uses the same tools I just mentioned, go check out his art, it's great. This one took me 28 minutes. Axew #610
