This is the 6th year COMIC JAM HAWAII has been drawing cards for Shriners Children’s Hawaii & Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. I made a couple at Super Saturday and at the last Drink and Draw on Wed., I managed to finish up a few more 🙂

Aloha! Here’s my Calabash comic strip in today’s Honolulu Star-Advertiser newspaper. I’m not the first person to do this gag. I saw a local meme on the many uses of a slipper (flip-flops) in Hawai‘i but couldn’t find it until I wrote Slippah instead of Slipper ^_^

Last night’s Comic Jam Hawaii Drink & Draw was Universal Monsters •We were a bit down due to current events, but we powered through and drew some great pieces. Art can be stressful but for the most part is extremely therapeutic and I was happy to draw along some great artists
