Like I said: Bayonetta Origins should have never been priced at $60
It's not about the quality or length of the game, cuz it IS worth $60
It's about this being a niche franchise, & this being an indie-like spinoff of that niche franchise
They doomed this game from the start.
In case anyone was wondering:
YES, Bayonetta Origins is worth the $60. I still haven't even beaten the main campaign yet & judging by what I've played so far (40%) the game actually is a good length.
Plus it's PACKED densely with things to do.
Reminds me a lot of Metroid Dread
Currently waiting on that article that says "'Bayonetta Origins sales didn't perform as expected' PlatinumGames reps lament"
& for them to say "I guess nobody wants Bayonetta"
instead of admitting it was a dumb move to price a 10 hour indie game at $60 no matter the quality 🥲
