Bonkeldurr (Conkeldurr)
- I caught a Timburr really early on in Pokemon Black, and that boy carried me HARD through the entire game. Kept him around for my competitive matches post-game, and he never let me down!

Surfboart (GMax Lapras)
- I couldn't complete the old school aesthetic without the ORIGINAL designated holder of the HM03...
- SURF. BOART.
COAT (Xatu)
- Gen 2, baybee!
- My first exposure to Pokemon Gold was a poorly translated ROM that leaked 8 months before the game's slated release date. It only allowed 4 characters, so I named my team arbitrary items like BOOK, SEED, EGG etc. The Assault Vest inspired COAT!
McTwist (Flygon)
- I skipped gen 3 due to being "too cool" for pokemon in early high-school, but I had one of these bad boys in my late game team in Diamond!
- My original one was named Kickflip, so I figured I'd name this one after another skateboard move!
Mr. Driller (Rhydon)
- Rhydon is THE quintessential "first" pokemon, and I was shooting for a GENWUNNER aesthetic so it fit perfectly in the ranks!
- Mr. Driller is just a good game, and while he didn't have Horn Drill, I associate drills heavily with Rhyhorn!
Borophyll (GMax Venusaur)
- Bulbasaur was my first Pokemon, so I needed to make sure he was in my team!
- Name comes from dumb Billy Madison quote "Chlorophyll...? ...MORE LIKE BOROPHYLL!" and noone laughs... EXCEPT ME.
