It's Shiny the Swordivore! He has the mysterious "All-Fork" which allows him to eat anything! He does find swords the most delicious, which makes fighting him pretty difficult when he can just eat your weapons!
It's Deathimate! A warrior so skilled that he trained to beat death itself when his time came! Death chose to avoid dealing with the skilled warrior out of fear, leaving Deathimate to continue aging and training to this day!
It's the Brothers King! A powerful wizard was tired of three sons squabbling over the rightful heir to the throne so he combined them in one body until they could agree on anything. They are still roaming the treasure hold to this day.
It's the Horrible Fowl! The most sadistic duelist in the land with his dual spurred knives and filthy costume!
Sometimes the battlefield becomes a little lacking in poetry and prose.
That's when you need a very articulate War-ator to deliver lines so deep from his green pages that the enemy literally sinks into them.
It's a Snake-of-man! Wielding an ancient tongue blade and coiled up for a dangerous strike!
It's a Knight of Oblivion! A magic cape rips in twain and a dreaded flapping can be heard throughout the land!
