DC brought out some of the big guns on art for this run. Rafa Albuquerque and @Dragonmnky on the first 4 issues with Ivan Reis and @DannyMiki_ on 1066. The annual was also beautiful with a few different artists with Albuquerque being joined by @Chris_Mitten and @Cleanlined.

It’s one of my favorite comics ever for what it did in the time it was released, but the way Ultimates has aged is f’n hilarious. People will point to Cap and the France line, but that made sense for that Steve, and is nothing compared to Hulk in issue 5. Take your pick https://t.co/4iYnmHE3Ww

Read the first volume of Witch Hat Atelier, and it is an absolutely beautiful looking manga. Idk if there are many comic books in general that look as good as this while fitting the subject matter so perfectly. I’ll definitely read more of this when I can.

This 1:25 variant cover for next week’s #DetectiveComics is so damn pretty. It’s still wild seeing Yoshitaka Amano drawing, and whoever at DC got that relationship going over the past year or so deserves a huge raise.

I hate the name change, but I’m very happy that Yomi no Tsugai is now officially available to read in English on newly launched @MangaUpGlobal app from @SquareEnixBooks. It’s now known as Daemons of the Shadow Realm, and I really hope that name doesn’t keep people from reading it

I may be reading/watching a lot of Shonen (+ a splash of seinen), so it seems like it’s all I read, but I have zero problem with reading some Shojo or Josei.

@ChrolloFreecs You didn’t ask, but for being cool and offering to help me out I’ll recommend two comics that I think manga readers would definitely want to check out. The first is No One Left To Fight. It’s straight up inspired by Shonen battle manga, so it might feel a bit familiar to you

@strydersnake Yes. He needs to be Jen’s client. Idk if they’d go that far if they want us t9 think of him as a hero, it they could tell a timely story with him.

Multiverse stories are the one type of story that I have so much love and admiration for that I can overlook a lot of flaws, especially when you get moments like this lol.
