The heck with it 🤡

Hello hello, I'm Jester, and I like playing with styles while I figure out what I like as an aspiring artist.

Here are some of my favourite artworks so far for

Day 25

Tho not horror, I just wanted to include Jurassic Park (Steven Spielberg,1993) because this scene is so iconic and tense, and also because it made younger me want to be a paleozoologist 😊

Day 22

There are a lot of iconic scenes from The Silence of the Lambs (Jonathan Demme,1991), but the one scene that made it clear to me that Hannibal Lecter was really dangerous was when he escaped imprisonment.

Day 20

A parody film, Scary Movie(Keenan Ivory Wayans, 2000) primarily spoofed slasher films like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. It also featured the comedic characters Cindy Campbell and Brenda Meeks.

Day 15

Misery (Rob Reiner,1990) was personally the most chilling Stephen King movie adaptation as it presents a VERY plausible villain, and shows one of the most disturbing scenes in a psychological thriller film.

Day 11

The Thing (John Carpenter, 1982) was initially negatively received, but over the years, was reappraised, and served as an inspiration to both sci-fi horror fans and filmmakers alike.

Day 8

Saw (James Wan, 2004) is a low budget film with a very big impact. Despite having a reputation as a gory film series, Saw is less focused on the blood and gore and more focused on the mystery of the killer.

Day 5

Alien(Ridley Scott, 1979) is one of, if not the best sci-fi horror films out there, with lasting cultural impact on both sci-fi and horror. I admire how its lead is also a levelheaded badass female character.
