△ And then 2026 happened, January 13, the day Elijah wanted to forget like a bad dream. There was one of the usual anti-android demonstrations, and Gavin was just making sure everyone was safe. Unfortunately, he couldn't protect himself from a madman with a grenade.
△ Elijah got all famous, his face was in every TV program and on every magazine cover you could find.
Meanwhile Gavin became a police officer and never told anybody that the famous android creator was actually his half-brother. He didn't have many friends anyway. Besides Hank.
△ But Elijah was getting more and more obsessed with his androids, it was like he stopped caring about anything, even about his own health. He ended up in a hospital a few times due to sleep deprivation. And Gavin got tired of all that eventually.
△ The house Elijah lived in had enough space for both of them and they were housemates for a couple of years. They still got on pretty well despite all the differences. Elijah had some kind of calming effect on short-tempered Gavin.
△ In 2018 Kamski moved to Detroit and created Cyberlife. In 2020 Gavin moved there too after his grandmother died. Or more like Elijah made him do it, he didn't want his brother to be all alone in that town they both hated.
Hank’s life got better with Connor around, but he still had bad days and at first Connor didn’t know what to do to help him in any way. After some time he realized that his presence was quite enough to make Hank feel better.
