Do you ever just get majorly discouraged about your art for no reason and for example - your brain keeps demonizing using references? I've watched some vids on yt about making art, that gave very valuable advice - but I couldn't help to feel upset and unmotivated (part 1)
I finished and I am so happy with how it came out <3 while I was shading, I was still not convinced, but once done I played around with it a bit and made it so that they're actually the ghosty apparitions the shepherd boy encounters at the end of the book 👀

this is the original (actually from 2012) - I even made 3 other color variations of this, that's how much I loved it :3
