Tried to draw what i had in mind, didn't exactly get the vibe i was looking for, but i tried.
The floppy ear-looking things are actually part of the lip and they use it to emote.

Having Monster Hunter on the brain.... So i doodled a beast inspired of my hunter character.
Other inspos are the Tarrasque, Praying Mantises, and Deinocheirus.
It's foremost arms are normally floded and hidden under it's mane, giving the impression of a long-necked fanged wyvern

A lot of paleoart just tries to be aesthetically pleasing rather than showing the precise anatomy of the animal.
For example i do paleoart, but i wouldn't call my work scentific art, as i focus more on general creature design.
