a little thing i doodled on my flight cause i have an idea for a mini comic
Crusher, Crest of Dominic. Now Crusher... Crusher is a weird one for me, my immediate thought was "tail club" but then i played some monster hunter and this looks similar to the deviljho hammer, so i'm now convinced it's a mass of teeth similar to those found on Helicoprion
Areadbhar, Crest of Blaiddyd. Dimitri's good ol stabby stick, i think it looks like the fused together bones of a marine animal's flipper but @byletri pointed out it could also be the wing bones of a dragon. I'm currently either or on this one.
Thyrsus, Crest of Gloucester. This was a hard one to place, the little spiney bits don't make much sense, it's probably a long shot but i think this might be part of a skull, if you concentrate on the centre and look at the skulls of dunkleosteus and ichthyosaur you might see it
Lance of Ruin, Crest of Gautier. Probably one of the creepiest relics both for its name and its twitching in game animation. My guess for this one is a large carved tooth along with several other smaller teeth
Blutgang, Crest of the Beast. This one I am certain is another spine, though it has been melded together and carved instead of segmented and strung. Fun fact this sword shares its name with one owned by a Germanic hero
Thunderbrand, Crest of Charon. This could easily be a limb bone that has been carved to shape, but I think it's fun to think it may have been the boney spike on a dragons tail, the shape is fantastical enough!
Frailnaught, Crest of Riegan. This one is a little tricky. I considered both another spine and sections of wing bone. I think wing would fit more thematically, as it's user is a wyvern rider and it also appears to wrapped in tendons or leather, which could have come from a wing
@byletri bro..... its definitely more stylized but the base similarity is there... Grim dragon had flippers???
@queerwebcomic Hi my name is Mags and I'm an autistic and nonbinary artist! I love monsters and dragons and pretty ladies!
