On a side note as well, these laughing sprites from Sonic Jam also seem to be a bit different compared to Sonic 3.
Knuckles seems to be chuckling a bit more than usual.

Something that I recently noticed about the early Knuckles sprites from the Sonic 3 November prototype is that
there seems to be a remnant of the early sprite style. This is one of the sprites from the skidding animation in
