"My mother is the moon, my father the sun
It's hard to say where I belong..."
My personal interpretation of “Halbkind” (”Half-child”), the child of the sun and the moon, from the 2nd Tabaluga concept album.
I really like this character.
Okay, but drawing Patchouli as Patchy and Koakuma as Potty was actually pretty fun, so look at them in higher resolution:
Look, kids! It's Patche the Pirate!

And here's an unconventional combination of Ninten's sprite and the commerical look.
You often see the neckerchief being used for any Ninten, but I rarely see different mash-ups of his shirt.
It always seems to be either the blue-yellow one or the blue-white-red one.
This combination of the clay model and sprite looks was fun to do.
Applying the more short and stout shape of the sprite to a Ninten makes him look kinda spunky, which is always nice.
Combine the look of the clay model and the Ness Clone CM Style and you get the standard "Ness Clone".
This is a Ninten who stays closer to the clay model's outfit, but also uses Ness' general shape.
Definitely influenced by Smash Bros.' takes on Ness and Lucas, too.
Now, the sprite version of Ninten is interesting to me, so I had to use him as a base, too.
Ninten's sprite really shows the Peanuts influence I feel, and it looks a lot less like his clay model compared to the sprites of other characters.
