Is also because these two, show little respect to their swords & themselves! That shows throughout their involvement in the story up till now! That is why I think they should’ve been given training in the soul palace- Nimaiya would say “you two don’t deserve to be Shinigami!”-

It’s because nimaiya is the CREATOR of the zanpakuto! He knows how these blades are made & what makes them tick! The soul reaper & the blade are one! Literal extensions of the user & these two would undergo training too- simply because of the treatment & lack of respect that-

I saw EP 8 again & in retrospect, I REALLY think the Zero devision should’ve brought ikkaku & Yumichika UP to the soul palace, for training & “reforging” & “enhancement” of THEIR zanpakutos as well!
It would make so much sense for nimaya to do that too- why? Well-

And if I had been in Yuha Bach’s shoes, even as a Quincy king, then with the Soul King’s power, even when affecting all of reality & the dimensions within the story, I would use it…so that the souls that passed on from the living world WOULD’NT turn into hollows!
