And there it is. This is the version without the title on it.

Once I was happy with that, it was a lot of fine details. Between this and the final, I limned them with the light, gave Shen Qingqiu's guan a proper attachment, etc. I also redid the faces some.

I made this background just sort of noodling around with a lot of different "magic" brushes, and I really liked it. Problem: Binghe vanishes into it. I tried a whole bunch of different filters, but eventually my solution was to put a contrast light behind them.

This is intended to be the "cover" for my fanfic if/when I finish it. Some detail shots and WIP versions in the thread:

@localdukhiaatma @CATACLYSMICEVIE Would you like some art in the meantime? He's got the same connective tissue disorder I do, so he carries his weight around the middle; I wasn't as successful as I'd have liked at getting it to be obvious that he's plump.
