Sharing some of the films I got to see in the Animation First Festival at the FIAF so far this weekend, as well as their directors Michel Ocelot and Denis Do. It's really inspiring to see animation used in such beautiful and impactful ways.

I’ve discussed this with several other people, and the consensus seems to be that the original Spider-Man trilogy really messed up a generation of movie-goers. Spider-Verse (and Homecoming by extension) took me out of the film with those mechanical web shooters.
