4/ Thanks again for your work ‘Swallowing my Pride’ @_isabelarts. I’ll share some thoughts about the other work ‘I saw the Devil in me’ in a few days. 🙏
3/ it’s a piece that had a lot of buzz & shares initially and yet, sat unsold for quite sometime. I hope that’s an encouragement to artists to be patient and proud of your work. I’m sure I’m not the only one that considered this piece. Sometimes finding an owner takes a while.
2/ the arrows piercing her neck. The words on the moon 🌚 ‘can’t wait to see how I’ll die’. The jarring contrast between the dark themes of the work and the bright exuberant colors. It’s a piece I’ve already spent considerable time thinking on since I first saw it.
1/ Last night I was thrilled to acquire “Swallowing my Pride” by @_isabelarts along with another of her works. Portrait art was my first love in art collecting. @_isabelarts work here was so striking that I kept coming back to it.
We await the next block on the timechain. Once again, the Cornælhuys shall be reborn.
