At #ADAA The Art Show, #Kasmin presents this work by #LeeKrasner. Krasner was a renowned American Abstract Expressionist painter and is considered one of the most critical figures in the evolution of American art in the second half of the 20th century. #ABEX

#KateKlingbeil’s intricately impastoed paintings, initially abstract, include female figures that allude to the fluidity of sexual expression. Klingbeil considers the presence of the male gaze; we imagine the women posing for them, contrasting seduction with expectation.

FALL PROGRAMMING: On September 20, the new exhibition, “Brancusi & Duchamp: The Art of Dialogue,” curated by art historian Paul B. Franklin, at our 515 West 27th space, explores the aesthetic dialogue between #ConstantinBrancusi (1876–1957) and #MarcelDuchamp (1887–1968).

#SUMMERSHOW: “SEED”, Curated by @yvonneforce, opens this Thursday, June 21, between 6-8pm at our 293 Tenth Ave space. “SEED” brings together a group of 29 contemporary artists. #TheodoraAllen’s works, “Dawn I, II, and The Open Heart”, will be included in the show. #SEED29
