ICYMI, I'm a new grad ICU nurse working mostly with covid patients. The first year of being a nurse is a STEEP learning curve, and so much of it is learning what to do with your hands. Strange that in just months mine have progressed from clumsy and stumbling to steady and smooth

@Procreate I work pretty much exclusively in procreate! I'm not a professional artist, I'm a nurse, so painting is my primary stress relief and I love that yall have a cheap, powerful program easy for non professionals like me to use!

Hello #PortfolioDay!! I'm Kathryn, a self taught artist and ICU nurse. I love beautiful women, colors, and religious/mythological imagery.

Progress shots! I'm doing some portrait studies restricted to 1, maybe 2 colors in a wash to study value and shape without getting distracted by all the colors.

Another WIP! I started this back in June when I was just beginning to get comfortable with #procreate and struggled with it SO MUCH that I gave up 😂 now revisiting it with the amazing @MaxUlichney retro brush pack!

One of my (many) weaknesses is value so working on this very low contrast painting is an interesting challenge. Trying to keep it soft and not get bogged down in details which I say every time but oh well #VisibleWomen #NobodyArtistClub
