Not having energy vs not having the desire. I can’t diagnose you (you know that) but from what I’ve experienced and what I hear from you, you sound depressed.
If you’re getting counseling, I hope they help you get that energy and desire back.

It’s like a parent telling their kid the parade can’t happen because it rained. It feels extremely disappointing to the kid but seeing the kid upset makes the parent upset too.
