Mica: Game design student. While her peers would rather work on FPSes and sports sims, Mica's interests are RPGs and their AI behavior.

The game she chose to research piqued her professor's interest, and the two take a deep dive...

"Since I'm part of this merry band now, you can tell me the company secrets. Where do the bots come from?"
"The official statement is that they stem from a coding error that can only be fixed by the original programmer."

Field: A self-proclaimed bot, leader of the CROWS guild (Covert Rescue of Wandering Sentience).
Bots are disposed of regularly so it's hard to believe that any could survive as long as Field has, leading most to believe he's not a bot at all.

omg thank goodness he'll be a free event costume because DAMN I'd be dropping $$$ on the nier gacha.....
