Years after “Fester,” I accidentally created her counterpart, “Liminal” in 2018. I wanted to express the divine freedom I had been experiencing since leaving a toxic marriage and religious cult. Still rooted, but drawing from life giving sources and expanding beyond.

Process post! This is the first version of a cover art painting I made for @evanescence. I used watercolor and acryla gouache on the final. The cover went in a different direction but I still really love how this turned out!
