As we're at the middle of this week, here are some pieces about the journey. Just spending some time trying to avoid generic lands and nature, referencing grass, trees and rocks helps make landscapes a subject as well.

There are quite a lot of my pictures that deal with my vertigo.
As I grew older, it almost vanished, but I still love representing characters at a place where I wouldn't have been able to stand...

I lost myself many times in the process, so it feels great to able now to balance it by making my own personal art at the same time, still working the nights, but doing what I'm passionate about.

I've been lucky to illustrate some of my favorite books, and some I started reading with.
The highlights of my career were probably to work directly with GRR Martin, or later with Luc Besson for one year on his movie, but the friends I made along the way is what I cherish first.
