we have to create little positive messages to share with people for my illustration class, so i'm taking the opportunity to throw my ocs in there, as usual (1/4, i'll be posting these throughout the week)

we had to create book covers for my illustration class, so i used the opportunity to make something for the original content i’d love to actually get around to one day

the book is phoenix extravagant by yoon ha lee btw. i took one look at the cover and was like "yup. this is an object i should own" like COME ON this is BALLER. worst case the book isn't as good as i'm expecting and i just have this sickass cover to look at
