Coloring Process:
- Mainly self explanatory w the images but I'll just emphasize that the balance between soft and hard edges + use of interesting shapes in shading really makes a difference
- Only soft shading: piece looks muddy
- Only hard shading: don't know where to focus

How do I implement this theory into my own art?
1. Pick a main color scheme
2. Apply the concepts of tone/hue/saturation/brightness variation to both the piece overall, and within the individual parts
