Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red/Blue were huge inspirations to me, especially the artwork from the Friend Areas. I wanted to imagine what Southern Island would look like if the series had a remake. We later got one!

Pixel art tutorials start teaching technique by telling you to eliminate jagged outlines, noise, and color count.. these pieces of mine embrace them instead.

There are lots of ways to approach making art. Don't worry too much about rules, just have fun and express yourself.

My favorite game of all time is Yoshi's Island. It just makes me so happy in every way and is a huge inspiration to me to this day! Here's a work in progress illustration ✨
