Aleste Branch looks pretty cool and I don't want to get all crotchety about how THE MODERN WORLD IS FILTH, but compare how Terri/Ellinor is presented in the original Aleste games with the way Branch shows her.

Let's talk about Breakers Revenge! It's a good fighting game with a somewhat generic assortment of characters: for example, Rila is basically Blanka. But she has a lot of neat moves, and I don't see that many OTHER fighting games with swole beast-women, so give her some credit.

Umber is a playable character in Brandish 3, though she first appeared as a boss in Brandish 2 (THE PLANET BUSTER). Her last name is either Galsia or Garcia, and it really seems like her name should be Amber, since her theme music is called "Stay Gold."

Here's every screenshot that have released of Clockwork Aquario so far. The ROUND START one is visible only briefly during the website's intro. https://t.co/vZwKS6R7O4

Want to read something that has nothing to do with Thanksgiving? Here are my weirdly self-doubting thoughts on Trials of Mana! Check it out, won't mew? https://t.co/MExxq99pyh

Why are all these people saying that Mai Shiranui was too risque for Smash Bros?

In an effort to raise my site's mainstream appeal, I wrote about my embarrassing memories of the arcade at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Cadash! Knuckle Heads! Zed Blade! Overheard Accusations of Oedipal Objectification! https://t.co/2ISjrnGnJr

Well, I should update the ol' website. Maybe I'll just go on and on about how much I'm looking forward to Aleste Branch, despite the game being nothing but some promo images and a model kit right now.

Hmm. Nah. https://t.co/heq9rEwjMA

But Mr. Miserable Hacky Bigot who draws Mallard Fillmore, I thought we weren't supposed to fight with Nazis!

The New York Times hired a Nazi sympathizer for their editorial pages? Man, that's messed up. Oh well, I'll just read the local paper's comics section, where no one would ever defend Nazis.
