Tekken 3 and SF 3 brought in a new cast of characters and refined systems. Street Fighter had a wider negative response but now for both are beloved.
In the late 90s and early 2000s there were a lot of games that would throw away expectations and do something new. Nowadays you don’t get that because companies are too scared of dividing reception and want to just be one thing.
It’s a game, despite all the flaws, is one that made me truly admire Kojima and his team. Also it drove me to continue to be creative in anything I do. Not for any fame or money, but because creating is awesome.

The E.M.M.I's in Dread remind me of the Marauders in Doom Eternal. An interesting idea that would have been great for 1, 2 or 3 at most sections in the game. But they're so drawn out and overused that they become annoying and the worst part about the game.
