been a while since I’ve drawn much of anything, and I was kind of afraid to for a while… a silly self portrait seems like a good way to get back into things

a fun little side-by-side of my color keys versus the final film! there were a lot of small lighting and color changes we made along the way that made a huge impact to the overall look and consistency of Toil and Trouble!

natural habitat

watercolors have never been an easy medium for me. i wanted to test myself and NOT fill in every bit of the drawing like i usually do. very different from my normal process but it was fun!

painted some of my feelings today, it was a bit of a rough one. its touching to see others do the same and show their appreciation of her impact through their art. rest in peace qinni, the art community will miss you #galaxiesforqinni

been practicing with the awesomely fun watercolor brushes by @MaxUlichney ive always loved the idea of watercolors but have the patience of a squirrel, so its really cool to play with these! so heres some self portraits!

omg im ;;; yall my #2009vs2019 is hilarious shes got hatsune miku sleeves with FLAMES on them like guy fieri. so much going on there. i havent really been drawing a full decade, but i found this one from around 2010! heres to more improvement to come! #decadeofart
