@EurasKaryot Braiding manes is standard for Wynnles with hands. It's not masculine or feminine, just something they all do. Amiere and family all know how to braid their own manes and those of their other family members. Since his mother didn't have hands, he probably learned it from Liesle.

Honeydew and Aubergine were both tortured before they found their way to the Good Thyme Inn, though by different groups and for different 'reasons' (as if there's ever a reason to torture children). For them, the inn is a place of love and healing.
