I just learn something new in japan they knew movie or game can be expensive they let people rent them,most people only watch them once or several not really rewatch them but then again it work because most japanese people are honest and wont steal i think

i noticed this even with academic so high, not everyone get to have their dream job,my job stray far away from my academic too, but i am quite lucky i am doing ok and have enough to continue my hobby, not everyone with good job can still continue their hobby
