@coucyi Thank you for the thread!! :) I'm working on creating a style with subtler line work. The first two are result of that. I'm just trying things I think look nice and seeing what ends up being my style :D
@AlanahJadeArt I would love to see your take on Aisha!!😍 She is former assassin, currently a private detective. She is though and usually acts cold, but has a soft spot for castaways. In first pic her scar is how I imagine it nowadays.
Even more sketches! At first I thought I would just do couple, but yeah apparently I'm doing all of them. Anna and Elsa were extremely puzzling, but 1890s made the most sense so I decided to go with that. Also they had artificial colors so Elsa's dress was possible
more sketches! Cinderella remake was clearly set in 1850s/1860s (more 1860s I'd say), so I decided to assume the original Disney animation was also. I set Aurora in the latter part of 14th century and Snow White in latter part of 16th century.
@Sooneaaa @Rina88aciR Thank you Ella for your support!🥰 Here's some of my recent stuff!
@MicheleQuirke @Akanetto2 Many of my characters have tattoos. They are used to channel spirits, but also different kind of tattoos are used in military to display rank, position and achievements. Another soldier could know Valeri's whole military career just by seeing them.
I've still got a long way to go with my art, but I think it's getting quite good, so let's join the thing! #NobodyArtistClub
Here's some initial sketches! Tiana was easy, because we know the year the disney movie takes place in. Jasmine was harder, but I decided to set her in 17th century Persia, because the original story was probably told by a storyteller born in Persia around that time.
@cleofeart Congrats on the milestone!! I'm Karkki and I like fantasy and historical clothing! I paint my OCs mostly but sometimes other things like fanart too
@Weary_canary Thank you for hosting!! :) I really love drawing historical clothing!
