Watched a young mom try to keep her sanity while her M-in-law kept slinging inane shopping demands across the floor. The son was good at reading his mom's frustration, but not the room, and gleefully shouted this at his grandma. That kitchen is going to feel reeeal small.

A high school trip to see Midway was at the same theater, and there was this lone chaperone/teacher sitting in the very center of the hallway entrance. Basically guarding the main exit and sodas for kids using the restroom. She had this setup and no nonsense look I loved.

Watched the sweet Frank & Ollie doc today and immediately wanted to draw these kids from one of my favorite animated sequences. It's a laughter rollercoaster that ends on such a sobering note. I cry every time.

Had fun celebrating @robsaucedo2500 w/the usual Drafthouse crew. Couldn't get this idea out of my head until I drew it. "Crab knuckles" was an ongoing joke & all I could think of were those Boston crabs full of fight from Finding Nemo. Happy 35th to the best film peddler around!
