I'll admit this one is pretty strange. It definitely looks like Luigi's head, but Link's right shoulder/bit of sleeve seems to be outlined behind his head. Granted, Luigi's head is actually very large in comparison to some other chars in Smash, so I think it's him.

BotW Link. You can even see a bit of his hair hanging down to the left of his face, and the equipment coming out from the right side of his back. Notice it's reversed from his close up; he's looking toward the logo! :O

A bit weird from the flames in the background, I agree, but man, who else stands in such a princely fashion? Not Shulk! JK, I love you, Shulk. But still, that's totally Marth. So princely~ Cape going down his back on the right, left shoulder sticking out on the left as I see it.

If everyone is looking toward the Smash ball logo (they are), AND standing calmly (they are), this is most definitely Diddy's head. Diddy is clinging to DK, something he's done many times in the past, which is why his head is up as high as the next character we'll review.

Then there's Pit with one visible folded wing toward the right of him. We can assume the bright thing sticking up in the center is his combined blades. Notice he holds his blades out with his right hand, which matches with him looking toward the logo instead of toward us.
