Dr. Omega surprised us with these masks last year as part of #MaskMakingMarch, an annual wrestling mask making event open to gear- and mask-makers worldwide! It's still one of the coolest gifts I've ever received, and was INVALUABLE as reference while I drew RUBBER MATCH. ✨

Our second Spicy Boy is SCORPION BUTCH. His influences are the Anoa'i family, my hometown hero Jeff Cobb, and writer @peachchild and I's mutual favorite, Shingo Takagi.

Our first Spicy Boy is TY CURRY! Writer @peachchild initially envisioned him looking like SANADA, so TNA-era The Great Sanada was my starting point inspiration! ✨ Over time, he came to take on some traits from other of our favorite kickpad-wearing wrestlers like Kota Ibushi!
