Galaxy NGC 474: Shells and Star Streams
The multiple layers of emission appear strangely complex and unexpected given the relatively featureless appearance of the elliptical galaxy in less deep images.

Ribbons and Pearls of Spiral Galaxy NGC 1398
Spiral galaxy NGC 1398 not only has a ring of pearly stars, gas and dust around its center, but a bar of stars and gas across its center, and spiral arms that appear like ribbons farther out.

NGC 602 and Beyond
Near the outskirts of the Small Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy some 200 thousand light-years distant, lies 5 million year young star cluster NGC 602.

Cassini’s best image, Saturn’s e ring and some friends
In this image, you’ll see the Earth and Moon, Venus, Mars, as well as Titan and Enceladus. If you look closer, you’ll see its geysers and the shadow it casts on the ring.
M106: A Spiral Galaxy with a Strange Center
A swirling disk of stars and gas, M106's appearance is dominated by blue spiral arms and red dust lanes near the nucleus, as shown in the featured image.
