@DavidToonsYT I'd say my style is still developing, but I think there's a pattern now.
Big focus on cell-shading
Cool-color palette with blues and indigo.
Sharp teeth with conniving/smirking expressions
Finally, American and Asiatic cultural elements.
Hope you like it, Toons!
@SomePunkArtist Now I want to speed sketch my OCs as imaginary friends to this theme, dang it, Punk!
@EightBitArt Rather disheartening to see kids’ animation being labeled as terrible so easily when too many good shows came out from late 2010s to now.
Are there dumb reboots and forgettable shows? Yes, but what decade doesn’t have that?
Art criticism is about acknowledging good stuff too.
@ThePvZArtist Heck yeah! Noibat is one of my favorite Pokémon of all time!
Salvaged a #NewProfilePic after my computer crashed, not looking too shabby.
Vector line art is way easier to manage in post though.
@OneWildJourney The mid-2000 did have the best cartoons didn’t they, huh! You mentioned a bunch of great shows. I still miss the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack
@MEdwardsVA Cartoons have always had messages and taught difficult lessons about life, since the beginning. I personally just prefer episodes dedicated to social issues than PSAs. Racism and any other issue is taught strongest when you show:
Its target.
Its impact.
Its origin.
