Recently found out about @GoodOldPixel 's project "Tears of Magic", and it feels so good to see these people trying to bring the BoF series legacy back on the table!
I had to make a little something to support them ♥

Early work for #DuneSpiceWars . At first we wanted the players to see the inside of Sietch Tabr, but that was scrapped rather quickly, so we focused on the outside look.

Another Character concept for Darksburg. I worked on this one with my buddy @sicaeart , it was super fun because he provided me with great ideas for the final version!

Some more VFX concepts I did for Darksburg. This is super fun to do because you have to think about how it will look and what to focus on in order to convey the right information to the player.
I really enjoy playing with strong shape language and colors like this ♥

Something I really like about working in an indie studio is that you get to work on different things. In that case, for the visual effects, it's important to understand the gamedesign/gameplay constraints while keeping the visual essence of the character. Talk with the GDs!
